GreenLight™ Fibers
AMS offers several fiber optic laser delivery catheters to meet your surgical needs.
Side-firing devices direct the laser beam at an angle of approximately 70 degrees from the axis of the fiber. These catheters are useful when the tissue surface to be treated is approximately parallel to the direction of access. The most common use of these devices is to perform Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP). Three different side-firing devices are available:
10-2090 Fiber
Model 10-2090 Fiber for use up to 120W with the GreenLight HPS® and GreenLight XPS™ laser consoles.
LEARN MOREMoXy™ Fiber
Model 10-2400
Model 10-2400 is our MoXy Liquid Cooled Fiber for use up to 180W with the GreenLight XPS console.
MoXy is particularly suitable for the treatment of larger glands as it compatible with the highest power laser offered by AMS and maintains the same high vaporization rate from the beginning to the end of the procedure.
LEARN MOREEA Fiber
Model 10-2092
Model 10-2092 is our Extended Application (EA) Fiber for use up to 40W with the GreenLight HPS and GreenLight XPS laser consoles.
This catheter is used most often for the treatment of urethral strictures and superficial bladder tumors.
LEARN MOREAll surgical treatments have inherent and associated risks. The most common risks associated with Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP) are hematuria, short term dysuria and UTI. See the GreenLight Operator's Manual or Surgical Guide CD for a complete list of possible risks and complications.
See the Instructions for Use and the Operator's Manual for the complete directions, contraindications, warnings, and risks associated with the device.
